How it works

Every automation is three kinds of card. Drag them into the forge, fill in a folder or two, press Forge, done.

WHEN

Something happens

A file lands in Downloads, you copy text, a file is saved, a web page changes, or it's 9 AM.

IF

It matches

Only PDFs, only on weekdays, only if the name says "invoice", only files over 50 MB.

THEN

Do this

Move, rename, zip or copy the file, notify you, copy text, post to Discord, or run a command.

See runs per day and your busiest combos, and chain small combos into big ones with ⛓️ Chain Reaction.

Turn any combo into an FF1-… code a friend can import. Secrets such as webhook URLs are left out.

See what happened

Every combo keeps its last 5 runs, plus a Battle Log you can save as a text file.

Safe by design

Only listens on your own PC, never overwrites files, and has loop guards so a combo can't trigger itself forever.

Get started in a minute

FlowForge runs on your own computer. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.

  1. Install Node.js 20 or newer.
  2. Grab the zip from the latest release and unzip it.
  3. Double-click FlowForge.bat (Windows), FlowForge.command (macOS) or run ./flowforge.sh (Linux).

  1. Click the Downloads Sorter starter recipe.
  2. Press ⚒️ Forge combo.
  3. Download anything and watch it get sorted by type, plus your first XP.
